Naked Yoga Saturday morning class at 9.15am at the St. Peters Studio.
Shanti Yoga is a relatively gentle style of yoga, and instructor Kim provides lots of stronger options for those who are more flexible or looking for more strength-building poses .
We do lots of joint rotation work (which helps to keep the joints mobile), core-strengthening work (to help keep the rest of the body well-aligned) and there is a focus on slow, mindful breathing.
If you're working with an 'iffy' back or are feeling restricted by tight shoulders or hips, this can be a great way to help open up the bodygently, using poses that we hold and breathe into.
At a physical level, the practice helps open out the joints and loosen tight muscles. At a deeper level, we have the opportunity to improve the flow of energy through the body and to begin to quieten the mind.
Feedback, so far, has been that it's a great way to start the weekend - even if you've had a few drinks the night before.

limited so bookings are essential.
